Skilled Nursing

To better serve the care needs of our communities in South Central Kansas, SRMC offers long-term acute care nursing services specializing in restorative and rehabilitative care.

The ultimate goal of this care is to rebuild independence, quality of life, and good health in order to allow them to confidently return home or to another facility. Our Social Services staff will assist patients’ family members to make the patient’s discharge as stress-free as possible.

Throughout the rehabilitation period, SRMC staff conducts a Care Plan meeting each Wednesday. This meeting gives patients’ family members the opportunity to meet with all of the disciplines involved in the rehabilitation of the patient.
